Out to Sea

We had a relaxing day at sea yesterday. Doug watched Wimbledon and we attended lectures about our upcoming port of Gibraltar. We played billiards (Doug won game after game) on a self-leveling pool table. Technology is amazing, this table automatically compensated for every movement of the ship and I had no good excuses for not getting any ball in the pocket except for the eight ball.

Doug had an interesting dessert called Carpaccio of Pineapple, fresh pineapple shaved into ultra thin sheets. Why haven't we seen this dessert on Maui? All of the food at every restaurant on board is exceptional. I had feared that the constant ministrations by the staff would feel stifling, but they are so friendly and helpful that we enjoy going out to eat. Nonetheless, we dined in our suite last night while watching the sun set and a pod of Risso's dolphins swimming along side (click HERE for information and photos of Risso's dolphins). Truly a vacation day.
