Hamburg

This evening we had dinner in the suite of Scott and Ron, a couple of friends from Maui who just today arrived on board the ship. Another great dinner with wonderful conversation; how is it we don't get together on Maui more often?

The sail up the Elbe river was smooth and pleasant, although there wasn't much to see with flat land stretching off into the distance. Lots and lots of wind turbines though.

We spent the afternoon and evening aimlessly wandering the streets of Hamburg. We are both feeling a bit out of sorts, our impending departure from this amazing ship is looming over us like a cloud.

We got a boost, though, when we walked into the St. Petri Hauptkirche (cathedral) in the middle of a free pipe organ concert (click HERE for a video excerpt).
