Final Again

I got in one more final swim with my friends this morning. They were most accommodating and came down to my back yard, since I no longer have car.

We encountered lots and lots of turtles, and had many laughs along the way.

 

Sweet Farewells

Maui's Pink Cap swimmers gathered out in the ocean this morning to say farewell to me, and visa versa. 

It almost felt like a memorial service, but a lot more fun.

Urchin Fondlers

I run into the nicest people out in the ocean (even ones who've been coerced into fondling urchins). 

This little Pufferfish was a blur as it zoomed by.

Then I ran into even more nice people.

It was a wonderful morning.

 

Congratulations Patti

Maui's Pink Cap swimmers gathered this morning to celebrate Patti's exciting news. As you can see from the top photo, even I joined in the jubilation.

A Hui Hou

Doug spent his final morning on Maui playing at Little Beach, and I got the day off to accompany him.

It was heavenly. In fact he kept suggesting that we move to Maui.

Farewell Doug

Maui's Pink Cap swimmers wished a fond farewell to Doug McBride as he headed off to a new life on the mainland. I will be following not far behind.

Fortunately, teardrops don't show up underwater.

Ray Day

Maui's Pink Cap swimmers celebrated the beginning of September with a ray day of an ocean adventure. I'm not sure of how many Eagle Rays we saw, but it was a lot. 

Now that my worldly possessions are on the move to Florida, I'm back to using my teeny-tiny little point-and-shoot camera. Which means the occasional settings error, like the monochrome photo below.
