Salesmen!

Yesterday, I was ready to turn around and go back home.

Today, there is no place I would rather be than here, sailing in the Black Sea.

We have been assured that our luggage will meet us Sunday morning at our next port of call. HOORAY!!!! Clean clothes, I can't wait! We walked into Istanbul this morning to buy some clothes, but ended up being suckered into buying a turkish carpet instead. I sure hope it can fly like the salesman promised.

I took the photo above just a block from the ship of the Tophane mosque. The photo below was taken from our room's lanai while docked in Istanbul. From left to right is Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, and the Blue mosque - all of the major sights, and all in view while sitting on the sofa watching Wimbledon. Actually, I went back into town to buy dinner clothes while Doug watched Wimbledon. No flying carpets this time.
