Jellied Eels


Eels are aggressive underwater hunters. They are also tenacious biters who won't let go of their prey, so fishermen are always reeling them in. Since they are not desirable food fish, their bodies are left to rot and I seem to be stumbling over their stinking corpses all too often. I followed the smell to find and remove this two foot long fellow from our beach today - finally, something interesting for dinner...
