Descending

I spent the night at the most charming hotel on the edge of the plateau. Just like when I went to sleep, it was still foggy and rainy when I arose this morning.

As I descended, the fog and rain soon disappeared, and the sun even deigned to make an appearance. All that rain falling in the mountains also needed to descend, so the path was often also a small stream. That was okay by me because yesterday proved that my boots are truly waterproof. Puddles beware.

A mere 1600 feet lower and it is now warm and sunny. Due to lots of massive blisters on my feet, I kept the walk brief and am staying in yet another cute little town tonight.
