Natural Born Linguists

This morning the Pyrenee mountains were clearly visible on the horizon and many were still capped with blankets of snow.

Doug was thrilled, not only by the fact that he so closely resembled the face on the placemat, but even more because each bottle of Perrier came with a can of French Open tennis balls.

We toured the local hilltop castle which was the birthplace of one of France's kings and were amazed at how much of the guided tour (completely in French) we actually understood.
