Ancient History on Maui

I somehow found myself hiking up to the Olowalu Petroglyphs this morning. The top photo is an enhancement of a portion of the middle photo to better show the ancient pictograms. There is still some modern graffiti mixed in, but most of that has been removed.

A little less ancient are the ruins of a Sugar Mill across the street which was torn down in 1933.
