Excitement was in the air for the Maui Pink Cap Swimmers this morning. Recent sightings of Humpback Whales and Spinner Dolphins raised everyone's expectations of an interesting swim. We encountered a Manta Ray on our way out and had fun trying to keep up with it.
Kayakers we met at our turn-around point told us that dolphins were just a little further up the shore and headed our way. Because the current was ripping again today we decided that we were content with having swum with a manta ray. There's always next time...
