Christine's Birthday Swim
This morning the Maui Pink Cap swimmers celebrated Christine's double-digit birthday with ocean antics.
Non-human critters were scarce, but we did scare up a turtle and spotted eagle ray.

A Better Planet
The Maui Pink Cap Swimmers did their bit to make this a better place by doing some reef clean-up this morning.
We also saw an Endangered Hawksbill Turtle happily munching away, as well as other contented Green Sea Turtles.

All Stuck
For some reason I continue to be completely uninspired to take photographs of the daily beauty around me - well, except for sunsets.
Sooooo, we're all stuck with more of my recent sunset photos...

Mers
Only a small group of merpeople showed up this morning, but we had a great swim with several turtles and lots and lots of fishies.

Thin Layer of Bliss
Horray! The ocean is finally beginning to warm up. This morning the top two inches were toasty warm, while everything below that was still quite chilly. So we spent a lot of time on our return floating as close to the surface as possible.

Blurred Lines
I saw lots of fishies and one big lobster on my ocean swim this morning.
Strangely enough, all of the photos came out blurry and I don't know why; so I figured - what the heck - and blurred them even further.

New Project
I'm having fun working on a large-scale project for a change. I like the grander scope with grounds, pool, buildings, and individual units.

Manta Expectations
What does it want from me?
That is what I was asking myself this morning as a Manta Ray swam up to me then turned its belly toward me and hung there. It stayed that way for fully five minutes. Did it want me to rub its belly? Try to remove the Remora? Have sex with it?
This was the second Manta Ray to behave this way with me in the past few months.
I also met some lovely people on my swim, both new and old.

Tasty Ants
This Green Anole was happily keeping an eye on lots of tasty ants crawling over a nearby flame ginger flower.

Glorious
Conditions for swimming were absolutely exquisite this morning: clear, calm and glorious.
I even got to spend some quality time with Kathleen, which was a treat.

Everyone Stands Up
Everyone stands up. That is the guarantee for anyone taking a surf lesson at the Cove.
All our recent cloudy weather has kept me indoors way too much, but the sunsets have been spectacular.

Bunnies and Fools
Yesterday's April Fools Day swim saw lots of bunny ears.
We even lucked out and ran into one of our Manta buddies.
